Blogs
What why do a stupid blog anyways? they were designed to get small group discussions of course topics going. I have done them before with less stress and craziness. Oh man people are being driven insane and Beachboard is not helping. Anyway culture. Yes culture huge thing for me. I have the same item everywhere because it is a tricky question. Hopefully people will sit and think about it. I know we have very diverse people in this course and some interesting things will come out.

The first homework
So i am thinking that every student thought "sweet this is the easiest homework ever!" but it had some ulterior motives. Yes I actually would like to get to know my students but I also made them all do research. I asked questions that required them to dig a little and think critically. Finding my favorite movie was a little annoying I am sure but I like that they had to pay attention to find it. It's hidden in my profile page. the really sneaky internet savvy ones could have found it on my facebook page too but wondering if anyone was that tricky.
Cengage seems like the coolest thing ever and I have every intention of playing with the flash cards myself, but I hope it doesn't cause too much of a disaster for the students.

Have to share
So the semester is just getting started and I know many of you are feeling overwhelmed. I love this blog. I love her silly little drawings and I love how she can sum up all that stress so well.

Getting Ready for Social Psych
I love the study of social psychology. The interplay of humans. This is a wonderful topic and one the melds the obvious with maybe the not so obvious. I hope the students love this class.
